BACH FLOWER ESSENCES

Dr Bach was well ahead of his time by understanding how emotional states lead to physical illness if they are left untreated. A fact which is now recognised and accepted by today's medical profession. He came to understand that for each human emotional state or pattern, there is a flower whose essence possesses an equal and opposite pattern. When these plants are used for complementary states, they gently balance our emotions. Dr Bach identified 38 different flower remedies, which were categorised into seven emotional groupings for ease of use.

A LITTLE HISTORY..

Disillusioned by the harsh medical methods of his time, Dr. Edward Bach - a respected medical physician - turned his back on conventional medicine to seek a gentler path to health and wellbeing. He spent years studying wild blossoms and trees to see how they affected his thoughts and feelings, ultimately discovering 38 unique flower essences that could naturally soothe the human spirit. Nearly a century later, these very same remedies are still crafted using his original method.

HOW ARE THEY MADE..

Hand-picked at the peak of their bloom, pristine wild blossoms are placed into clear spring water and left to steep allowing the gentle warmth of the sunlight to naturally transfer the flower's soothing essence into the liquid. For woodier plants and early spring trees, a gentle boiling process over an open fire mimics this natural release. Once filtered and preserved with a touch of brandy, these essences are carefully bottled, ensuring that the raw, quiet energy of the English countryside remains completely untouched and whole.

HOW CAN THEY HELP..

Each delicate drop acts as a quiet anchor, meeting you exactly where you are to restore emotional clarity and inner peace. By pairing specific flowers with your immediate feelings - whether you are facing a moment of sudden worry, carrying a heavy weight of exhaustion, or trying to calm a restless, busy mind - these remedies offer a soft, supportive space to let go of daily tension. They do not mask your emotions; instead, they work subtly from within to dissolve emotional blocks and encourage your own inner resilience. It is a personalised, gentle way to quiet the noise, realign your spirit, and bring a sense of steady comfort to your everyday life.
